
Omeprazole capsules are a kind of drug that inhibits the secretion of gastric acid. They are often used for the treatment of gastric diseases caused by excessive gastric acid secretion, such as gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, reflux esophagitis and other diseases.
It protects the gastric mucosa by inhibiting the activity of proton pumps in parietal cells, reducing the acid production of parietal cells, and minimizing the damage of gastric acid to the gastric mucosa. At the same time, it can also kill Helicobacter pylori.
Indications
It is applicable to gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, stress ulcers, reflux esophagitis and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (gastrinoma).
Adverse reaction
This product has good tolerance. Common adverse reactions include diarrhea, headache, nausea, abdominal pain, flatulence and constipation. Occasionally, elevated serum aminotransferase (ALT, AST), rash, dizziness, drowsiness and insomnia may be observed. These adverse reactions are usually mild and can disappear on their own, regardless of dosage. No serious adverse reactions were observed after long-term treatment, but in some cases, gastric mucosal cell hyperplasia and atrophic gastritis may occur.
