Introduciton
Ketoprofen gel is an external non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, mainly composed of ketoprofen, and is mainly used to relieve pain and swelling caused by inflammation. It reduces the production of substances that cause pain and swelling by blocking the function of an enzyme in the body called cyclooxygenase (which promotes inflammatory responses). This medicine needs to be directly applied to the skin surface of the painful area and is often used for the treatment of local inflammatory problems such as sports injuries and joint pain.

Indication
Ketoprofen gel can be used for local treatment for pain, inflammation and trauma in joints, tendons, ligaments and muscles caused by rheumatism or trauma. Includes: arthritis, periarticular arthritis, synovitis of the joint, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis, contusion, sprain, strain, dislocation, meniscus injury of the knee, torticollis, back pain. Ketoprofen gel can also been successfully used to treat pain and inflammation caused by phlebitis, peri-phlebitis, lymphangitis, lymphadenitis, erythema and dermatitis.
Precautions
It may cause an increase in skin sensitivity If the local application continues for a long time. In case of an allergic reaction, the medication should be stopped and appropriate treatment measures should be taken. If the patient has a history of skin allergies or believes there is a possibility of photodermatitis, they should avoid using this product before exposure to sunlight. Ketoprofen gel cannot be used on open wounds or skin injuries.
